Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Most truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes the One who sent me has everlasting life, and he does not come into judgment but has passed over from death to life. 25 “Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. This is from John 5: 23-30. Notice what Jesus says here, ” Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which ALL those in the memorial tombs (graves) will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement. Now, does that mean that Jesus will resurrect them, give them a lecture and send them on to hell to burn forever ?? NO, never will that happen. They are judged, exactly by the same standards that all of us will be judged by, and that is, how we conduct ourselves, living underneath the rulership of God’s Kingdom. When a person is resurrected his sins were paid for by his death, he then starts off with a clean slate. If he messes up again, in a perfect world, he will die by his own sins, not the sins of Adam, therefore there is no resurrection from the second death. All of those who have died, at least most of them, will be brought back to life in a perfected earthly paradise. So the resurrection will happen sometime after those who survive the great tribulation have prepared the earth to the point where Jehovah finds it suitable enough to bring the dead back to life. He is not going to bring them back to life into the ruins left behind after the great tribulation, it will be done, as he does everything, in an organized, perfect way. Until they can build their own, they will have a place to live, and cloths to wear, and food to eat, and all the comforts of life they will need, and a world full of people that genuinely love them and welcome them back. They also will be taught about Jehovah, his kingdom, the Christ, and all that has happened while they were residents of the dust.
WHO RECEIVES THE RESURRECTED ONES We speak of the resurrection in general terms, because the scriptures also speak of the resurrection in a broad sense. The scriptures give examples of humans being brought back to life under various circumstances, But the important thing to grasp, is simply that man will have his life restored if they die because of Satan’s machinations. If a person dies at God’s hands, during the conclusion of Satan’s rule, our time, they stay dead. God does not destroy a persons life one minute, and then turn around and bring them back to life 10 minutes later. We learned yesterday that the resurrection happens during the rulership of Christ, and after the destruction of Satan’s system of things. Remember the words of the evil doer on the torture stake next to Jesus, he said to Jesus, ” Jesus, remember me when you get into your kingdom.” Then Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise.” Jesus did not say, “Truly I tell you today you will be with me in heaven.” !!! The bible does not refer to the heavens as paradise, the bible refers to the heavens as the seat of God’s governance. Memorize the scripture at Acts 24:15 where it tells us, “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” And again at John 5: 28,29 it says this, “Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” So here we have the promise from Christ, that even those who practiced bad things in Satan’s world, would have the chance to come back to life underneath the rulership of Jesus, and prove themselves worthy of continuing to live. They will have a thousand years to get their act together, in a perfect world, surrounded by people who love them, and if they cannot do it, in a thousand years, they are never going to. However, lets read one more scripture contained at Revelation 12: 7-12, and it says this, “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.” Michael is the name of Jesus in Heaven, and this scripture tells us that he kicked Satan and those Angels that were on his side out of heaven, and cast them down to the earth, where they continue to mislead mankind. Having read these scriptures, does it make sense to you, that after kicking Satan out of heaven, along with his henchmen, that then Jesus would then fill up the heavens with those people from earth who practiced VILE things, UNRIGHTEOUS MEN. ????? To be continued in next posting.
Events are happening on the earth so fast that I am worried that I will not even have time to write to you the things that you need to know to survive, let alone you having time to read these things and then let them sink into your heart. But you must, you have to, put aside the unnecessary cares of the world, and take in this knowledge. The earth has been covered with the dead, most of them will be returned to life. There will be a few, whose hearts are so corrupt and lost, that they are beyond hope and they will remain dead and forgotten. Notice in one of these pictures that Angels are helping in the resurrection. Jehovah knows, which human being, belongs with what group of people, and you will notice Angels handing over resurrected ones to them. Yes, Jehovah even remembers our thoughts and memories, so make sure that when he reads your thoughts, you have plenty of them about him, about His Son, and hopes for his kingdom. Some people will be brought back to life all alone in the world, without family or friends, but don’t worry, they will also find themselves welcomed back with tears of joy, and they will be well taken care of by people who truly love them. Children without parents will find themselves surrounded by hundreds of parents, each and everyone of them eager to take them in, and share their lives together. Those resurrected back to life will find themselves with whole complete bodies, soldiers from battles with missing limbs, will find themselves restored. Elderly will come back elderly, but functional, and each and every day they will return little by little to perfect health and youth, better than when they were young, because this time, they will be perfect. We will get back our friends and relatives as they were so that we recognize them. Mothers will get back their children, children will get back their mothers. Children will grow older, mothers will grow younger, until both reach perfection. This will take place all over the earth, but in a controlled way, so that the newly resurrected ones can assimilate into the new world and get acclimated, then another wave of resurrected ones can come when we have all had a chance to make provisions for them. Wouldn’t you just love to be a part of that ?? You can, you can be there.
WHEN DOES THE RESURRECTION HAPPEN Since it is God that is the giver of life and makes the provision to bring the dead back to life, instead of developing our own beliefs, why don’t we examine what the scriptures have to say about when the resurrection happens. In the 6th chapter of John, Jesus tells us when the resurrection will take place, “All those whom the Father gives me will come to me, and I will never drive away the one who comes to me; 38 for I have come down from heaven to do, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. 39 This is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose none out of all those whom he has given me, but that I should resurrect them on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.” And again at John 6: 44,45, “No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by Jehovah.’ Everyone who has listened to the Father and has learned comes to me.” And at John 6: 65, again it says this, ” He went on to say: “This is why I have said to you, no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” At John 11: 17- 29 it tells us this, “When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him; but Mary kept sitting at home. Martha then said to Jesus: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. Yet even now I know that whatever you ask God for, God will give you.” Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this? ” She said to him: “Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.” When she had said this, she went off and called Mary her sister, saying privately: “The Teacher is here and is calling you.” On hearing this, she got up quickly and went to him. ” So the resurrection is spoken of as happening on the “last day”, so just when is this “last day” ?? A clue is found at 2 Peter 3: 8-10, ” However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. But Jehovah’s day will come as a thief,”. So a day with God is 1,000 years. The “last day” therefore would be a period of time 1,000 years in duration, during which time, the resurrection would take place, and Jesus would be in charge of the resurrection, because he said,”I am the resurrection.” At Revelation 20: ” And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended. After this he must be released for a little while. 4 And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years. 7 Now as soon as the 1,000 years have ended, Satan will be released from his prison, ” So it is during the 1,000 years that Jesus is reigning over the earth that the resurrection takes place. Notice that the bible speaks of two resurrections, we will talk about them later, but they both take place during the reign of Christ. We know from conditions on earth right now, that they do not match the descriptions that reflect life under the rulership of God’s Kingdom as the bible tells us, wars, hunger, violence, disease, death corruption, abound, so God’s kingdom is not ruling the earth right now, so therefore the resurrection has not happened as of yet, we are still waiting on it.
